    Did you know that reading aloud for thirty minutes a day is proven to grow confidence and proficiency among student readers?
     
    That’s why 鶹partners second and third graders with volunteer listeners through the Read Up Listen Up program.

    It’s a great opportunity to encourage students who currently read below grade-level, while providing the daily practice needed to improve reading and comprehension skills.

    From business professionals and community members to grandparents and retirees, everyone is encouraged to volunteer! No experience or instructional feedback is required; simply a listening ear.
